Online Creative Content Board Chair


Eman is a senior from Indianapolis studying computer science, journalism and business management. Besides being the OCC board chair, she's also a managing editor of the Indiana Daily Student, IU's student-run newspaper, and a senior adviser of the Muslim Student Association. She likes designing things, learning about cultural industries, exploring the wilderness, and memetics (the study of memes.)

Haily is a senior majoring in Cognitive Science, Linguistics, and Central Eurasian Studies. She is a Cox Research Scholar and works in the Percepts and Concepts Lab with Professor Rob Goldstone. Outside of class, Haily enjoys volunteering at Global Gifts, a local Fair Trade store, drawing, hiking, and reading.

Janani is a sophomore from Naperville, IL currently majoring in Finance, LEAD and English. Her research interests revolve around literary analysis and communication, and in turn enjoys creating new, aesthetically pleasing ways to present valuable information. Outside of research, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar and running. In the future she hopes to attend law school and eventually become a professor.

Jiawei is a sophomore studying Computer Science, with an interest in music and physics. His hobbies include app development, electronics, and playing piano. He is currently working on front-end development for a research project involving electronic wildlife tracking.

Laxmi is a sophomore from Carmel, IN majoring in Neuroscience and Environmental/Sustainability Studies. Outside of IUJUR, she is involved with TEDxIndianaUniversity and Timmy Global Health, is a dancer for HoosierRaas, and occasionally writes for the IDS. She is passionate about music, writing, and three-item lists.

Sophia is a freshman majoring in Neuroscience. Other than IUJUR, she is involved in the Hutton Honors Council Association, Wells Activism Volunteer Effort, and Society of Science Outreach. She is currently working in the Tuli lab studying virology, but has also interned at Athersys, a company researching stem cell therapy. When she is free, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, and trying new restaurants. 

Tiffany is a sophomore at IU studying Biology and English from Carmel, Indiana. She plays viola with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Student Advisory Board. If she got her priorities straight, she would read more, write more, live more.
