Catherine Blankensop is a junior at Indiana University studying journalism with minors in communication and public advocacy and mathematics. She is a communications intern at Shalom Community Center and for the City of Bloomington Office of the Mayor. In the future, Catherine hopes to work in communications with a nonprofit or small business whose mission is important to her. Cox Research Scholar and works in the Percepts and Concepts Lab with Professor Rob Goldstone. Outside of class, Haily enjoys volunteering at Global Gifts, a local Fair Trade store, drawing, hiking, and reading.

Sophia is a sophomore studying Microbiology and Neuroscience. Other than IUJUR, she is involved in the Hutton Honors Council Association and Wells Activism Volunteer Effort. She also conducts research in the Tuli lab, where she studies the molecular mechanisms of alphavirus spike assembly and disassembly. She really enjoys writing, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring new places.
Christine is a sophomore from Carmel, IN who is majoring in journalism and sociology with a certificate in neuroscience and minors in psychology and comparative arts. She works for Bloom magazine, TEDxIndianaUniversity, the Indiana Daily Student and News-Decoder. A wannabe artsy hippie, Christine loves music, literature and stress baking while watching trashy reality TV.
Clark is a senior from Winamac, IN, studying English and Spanish. He is the book columnist at the Indiana Daily Student, IU's student-run newspaper, and his research interests revolve around how literature portrays family and community in rural settings. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, and trying to cook.
Laxmi is a sophomore from Carmel, IN majoring in Neuroscience and Environmental/Sustainability Studies. Outside of IUJUR, she is involved with TEDxIndianaUniversity and Timmy Global Health, is a dancer for HoosierRaas, and occasionally writes for the IDS. She is passionate about music, writing, and three-item lists.
Radha is a freshman from Evansville, IN studying Neuroscience and International Studies. Outside of IUJUR, she is a Lilly Scholar, a dancer on the HoosierRaas team, on the Raas Royalty Board, as well as a member of Hutton Honor Council Association, American Medical Women's Association, and MedLife. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, backpacking, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
Tom is a junior from Riverside, Illinois studying Epidemiology and Global Health Promotion through the School of Public Health and Healthcare Management & Policy through the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Previously, Tom has performed research with the IU School of Medicine team at Riley Hospital for Children, analyzing pediatric illnesses and respective therapies/treatments and outcomes. Outside of IUJUR, Tom enjoys his involvement in IU Dance Marathon, Timmy Global Health and Greek life.
