Jesus is a sophomore originally from Michoacan, Mexico studying microbiology and neuroscience. He conducts research in the Winkler lab studying the cell division process of Streptococcus pneumoniae in order to gain insights into novel antibiotic targets. He hopes to complete an M.D./Ph.D. after graduation and pursue a career in translational disease research.

Abby is a senior from Indianapolis, Indiana. She is currently studying Biology and Spanish, and she does research on the effects of urbanization on disease in a songbird, the dark-eyed junco.  

Bryce is a sophomore pursuing B.S. degrees in Neuroscience and Astrophysics, with a minor in math. He works as a member of IU STARS in a systems neuroscience lab, exploring the analytic and computational approaches to learning and memory. He's also involved with Astronomy, Neuroscience, and Cognitive Science clubs, as well as neuroscience tutoring. Outside the classroom, he enjoys volunteering through HonorVol, biking, and reading.

Corrine is a junior from Bloomington, Indiana, majoring in Chemistry and Neuroscience and minoring in Psychology. She is currently doing research in computational chemistry lab under the direction of Dr. Krishnan Raghavachari. Her research is focused on studying various transition metal sulfide complexes and probing their candidacy as potential photocatalysts for hydrogen generation from water. In addition to IUJUR, Corrine is a member of Science Outreach Society and is the co-president and co-founder of Hoosier St. Jude Ambassadors, a new student organization at Indiana University dedicated to fundraising for and volunteering at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

Hannah is a junior from Bloomington majoring in biology and neuroscience. She conducts research on the origin and evolution of novel traits in the Moczek lab and is planning on going to graduate school.

James is a sophomore from Indianapolis studying Geological Science and Mathematics. He is involved in research in the Geophysics Lab analyzing seismic data from the OIINK Array, a seismic network deployed throughout the midwest. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, cracking open geodes and reading science fiction novels. 

Reyan is a sophomore from Indianapolis, Indiana. She studies Biology and Anthropology, with a concentration in integrative organism and minors in French and Animal Behavior. Besides her work with IUJUR, she is a member on IU Ethics Bowl's national team and Office of Vice Provost’s Board for Undergraduate Education, as well as a member of Dr. Nikki Pohl’s carbohydrate analysis lab.
