Jesús is a senior originally from Michoacan, Mexico studying microbiology and neuroscience. He conducts research in the Winkler lab studying cell division in the bacterium Streptococcus pneumoniae to combat antibiotic resistance. When he isn't in the lab, he can be found playing soccer, watching movies, or tinkering with a new piece of technology. He hopes to complete an M.D./Ph.D. after graduation and pursue a career in translational infectious disease research.

Hannah is a senior from Bloomington majoring in biology and neuroscience. She conducts research on the origin and evolution of novel traits in the Moczek lab and is planning on going to graduate school.

James is a junior from Indianapolis studying Geological Science and Mathematics. He is involved in research in the Geophysics Lab analyzing seismic data from the OIINK Array, a seismic network deployed throughout the midwest. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, cracking open geodes and reading science fiction novels.

Corrine is a senior from Bloomington, Indiana, majoring in Chemistry and Neuroscience and minoring in Psychology. She is currently doing research in computational chemistry lab under the direction of Dr. Krishnan Raghavachari. Her research is focused on studying various transition metal sulfide complexes and probing their candidacy as potential photocatalysts for hydrogen generation from water. In addition to IUJUR, Corrine is a member of Science Outreach Society and is the co-president and co-founder of Hoosier St. Jude Ambassadors, a new student organization at Indiana University dedicated to fundraising for and volunteering at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Reyan is a junior majoring in biology and minoring in animal behavior, anthropology, and French. She is a member of the Dr. Nikki Pohl’s carbohydrate chemistry lab at IU. Apart from IUJUR’s Student Editorial Board, she is involved in IU’s Collegiate Ethics Bowl team, the Office of the Vice Provost (OVPUE) Student Advisory Board, and the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI). Currently, she is studying abroad at the University of Oxford, St. Anne’s College, concentrating in biochemistry. She enjoys hiking, reading, and plants.

Bryce is a junior from Zionsville, Indiana who's majoring in Astrophysics and Neuroscience with minors in math and psychology. He's a part of IU STARS and works in a systems neuroscience lab developing analytic and computational tools to study learning and memory. He's also worked on cosmology research as an REU student. Outside of IUJUR and research, he's involved in IU's Student Organization for Cognitive Science as treasurer, is an IU URE peer mentor, and volunteers as a neuroscience tutor.

Nicholas is a sophomore at Indiana University. He attended Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is currently studying Neuroscience and Biology. Nicholas is an active member of Dr. Joseph Farley's lab focusing on Alzheimer's Disease. He is a STARS and Cox Research Scholar.
