Shahin Saberi is a sophomore seeking majors in Neuroscience and Biology, as well as a Certificate in Liberal Arts and Management. Also, Shahin pursues research in the Hohmann Lab, which focuses on the effects of endocannabinoid system modulation on pain and opioid use. Some of his passions lie in advocacy for diversity-related issues and public health equality. Outside the classroom, Shahin enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, speaking Spanish, and exploring the world.

Sunna Ahmad is a junior from Fishers IN, pursuing a major in Microbiology and minor in Spanish. She has been involved in Dr. Tuli Mukhopadhyay’s alphavirus lab for over two years and serves as the Community Service chair for IU’s Pre-Dental Society. She enjoys cooking and baking in her free time.

Kiran is a sophomore from Peoria, IL. He is majoring in Finance and Accounting and is a member of the Knall-Cohen Fund. In his free time, he plays tennis on the Club Tennis Team and manages his involvement in 4 capital markets organizations.

Samantha is a freshman from Austin, Texas. She is studying Finance and plans to minor in German. She is also involved in Women & Co., Investment Banking Club, and the Undergraduate Business Diversity Council. Samantha takes elective ballet at IU, and loves attending the opera and ballet events produced by the Jacobs School of Music.

Harsh is a Junior majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. He is currently a member of Phi Delta Epsilon as well as the Comparative Cognition Lab, which studies episodic memory derived from olfactory trials in rats. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing the ukulele, snapchatting, and rewatching every episode of Friends multiple times.

Sakhi is a freshman from Fort Wayne, Indiana, majoring in Healthcare Management and Policy. As a Cox Research Scholar, she is currently doing research in Dr. Richard Carpenter’s cancer biology lab analyzing on the role of transcription factors on metastasis within the body. Asides from IUJUR, Sakhi is actively involved in Health Occupations Students of America club and is the founder and president of the medical nonprofit organization MedEDU Inc.
