SEB Social Sciences Chair


Khushboo is a sophomore from Fishers, IN. She is majoring in Cognitive Science and minoring in Spanish. As a STARS student, she does research in the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience lab, studying mother-child interaction using the still face paradigm. She is also a member of the HoosierRaas team.

Amee is a sophomore from Avon, Indiana. She is studying Biology and Economics and is currently conducting microbiology research under Dr. Jake McKinlay. She also loves watching The Office. :)

Anna is a senior from Greenwood, Indiana and is majoring in Biology with a minor in Psychology. She works in Dr. Andrea Hohmann's lab and studies cannabinoid receptors and pain. In her free time, she likes to play piano, play tennis, and eat good foods.

Eyob is a Sophomore from Evansville, IN majoring in Political Science and Economics with a minor in International Studies. He is currently a member of several economic and political organizations on campus and is an editor for the Social Sciences committee of IUJUR. Eyob’s future goals look broadly toward a career in the political realm with particular interest in international development.

Iman is a sophomore from Indianapolis, IN majoring in Neuroscience and International Studies, and when not involved with the journal or her own research serves as an IUSA congressional representative.

Katherine is a sophomore from Evansville, Indiana, majoring in political science. She has been conducting research under Dr. Bernard Fraga in the Political Science Department since her freshman year. She is also active in several political organizations on campus and currently co-runs a WIUX show. After graduating, she is interested in pursuing a law or advanced academic degree.

Indiana University Bloomington 2019, Neuroscience B.S. and Math B.S. II, Chinese Minor A single child born in China and raised in Indiana, Lauren is a Christian, a voracious eater and a cook by necessity, and a full-time sarcastic. She researches prejudice and stigma in IU's NiMBLe lab as well as narratives in the Experimental Humanities lab. In her spare time, Lauren heads the Engaged Learning Media Team, is editor-in-chief and founder of its magazine, serves as a volunteer EMT, and, sometimes, sleeps.
