Rose Schnabel
Rose is a junior studying biology, Spanish, and science writing. You can find her stirring organic reactions with one hand while writing an editorial with the other. This is Rose's second year chairing OCC and they're grateful to do so alongside co-chair Raya and the whole OCC group.
Jill Grant
Jill Grant is a senior from Fishers, Indiana majoring in Computer Science & Philosophy and minoring in Psychology. She is also interested in Cognitive Science and User Experience Design/Research. Outside of IUJUR, she often tutors peers and is a mentor through Base of Women. In her free time, she enjoys jewelry making, reading, baking, and re-watching her favorite TV shows.
Aidan Kramer
Aidan Kramer is a Junior from Indianapolis, Indiana and is studying epidemiology and community health. She loves volunteering in the Bloomington community. She is also works on campus in the Laboratory for Biological Mass Spectrometry, and helps with research in the department of Applied Health Science involving data and code availability. In her spare time, Aidan enjoys reading, doing yoga, and spending time with friends.
Lynn Strong
Lynn Strong is a sophomore from Kendallville studying Human Biology. In addition to IUJUR, Lynn participates in Royal Encounters, Chi Alpha ministry, Hoosier Health Advocates, ASURE, and Auditorium Ushers. She loves writing, singing, peanut butter, and sharing pictures of her loveable dogs Biscuit and Butter!
Raya Haghverdi
Raya Haghverdi is a sophomore from Bloomington, Indiana, majoring in neuroscience. She is part of the Center of Excellence for Women & Technology's Ethical AI Team and serves as mentor to freshmen students as part of the Mentor Collective. She is also an undergraduate researcher in a molecular neuroscience lab on campus. In her free time, Raya enjoys reading, hiking in Brown County, and eating chocolate chip cookies.
Chloe Barnebee
Hi I’m Chloe Barnebee! I am from Excelsior, Minnesota and I’m a freshman this year at IU majoring in Biochemistry. I find all things involving science research fascinating and hope to do something relating to researching infectious diseases in the future.
